JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMMERCE GRADUATES.

• Accountant

After your graduation you can work as an accountant and most of the fresh commerce graduates look for a job as an accountant. Accountant is required in all types of industries. Every company requires accountant to run their business and to keep track of profit and loss of their company.

• Tax Consultant.

Taxation you learn in college itself. After graduation you can work as a tax consultant with any firm and get some experience. Later on you can independently  work as a Tax Consultant or work form home or can also start your own firm.

• Human Resource Manager.

 

Fresh B.Com graduates can work as H.R Personnel, or can also do their masters degree in Human Resource Management and later on you can work independently as H.R. Manager.

 

• Banker

 

You can check the requirements as per adds or the bank websites, most of the banks hire the commerce graduates. Even many banks hire the fresh commerce graduates also. You can get a job in any banks by registering on the bank websites or by with competitive exams like IBPS, RBI Exams or by following the employment news.

 

• BPO/KPO.

 

Most of the BPO’s and KPO’s ( Business Process Outsourcing) and Knowledge Process Outsourcing) Prefer commerce graduates and you in BPO OR KPO can work as client serving executive, customer care executive and Team Leader. In this outsourcing companies there are lots of opportunities and they offer a good pay package also.

 

• Auditor

 

Auditor is the upper position after the accountant. As an auditor you have to check financial statement and accounting ledgers. As an auditor you can have to work with several clients and have to travel also.

 

• Stock Broker.

After graduation you can do any small course in stock trading and get the knowledge. Finance , Mathematics and Economic subjects will help you a lot as a stock broker.

• Lecturer,

After Bachelor of Commerce you can do two years course ie. Master of Commerce (M.Com) and you can work as a commerce lecturer in colleges or universities.

• Export and Import Manager.

All the big companies doing Export and Import Business need Export Import Assistant Manager/ Manager for documentation work, customs work, now for GST Work. You can join as a fresher or can do specialization in Export and Import certification courses after your graduation.

• Finance Consultant.

As a Financial Consultant you can advice one on the savings, retirement planning, fianancial planning about the future etc. And can save them from the future money crises.

• Insurance Consultant.

After B.Com in Banking and Insurance you can work in Insurance Industry as an Insurance Advisor or Insurance Consultant etc.

• CA / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary

Chartered Accountant (CA)  Cost and Works Accountant (CWA) and Company Secretary (CS) are the more advanced  career options after B.Com you can give the exams while you are studying in B.Com also.

• Event Manager.

We all know how the Event Management business is getting the importance day by day. After graduation you can do masters in event management and later you can work as event manager.

• Travel Agent / Travel Manager.

After graduation you can work with Travel and Tourism Industry. Marketing, Accounts and Costing subjects will help you lot in this field.

• Government Jobs.

B.Com graduates can prepare and give competitive exams and can try their look to get government jobs in civil services, public sector, government departments, banks etc.

• Lawyer.

To become lawyer even after B.Com graduate you can do LLB and then get the experience by working under lawyer and then late life you can start working independently as a lawyer.

• Market Researcher.

As a market researcher your work is to do market research and let know the company about the market trend, market competitors before launching any new product or before taking any important decision.

B.Com graduates can also work with Hotel Industry and  can do specialization in hotel management, for hotel management costing knowledge is required that you get in B.Com.

A fresh B.Com graduate can work as Administrative or Administrator in any type of Industry. For administrative job a degree and computer knowledge will help a lot.

B.Com graduates with MBA or M.Com or any Diploma in any field will help a lot and will have more successful career opportunities.
